Interest on Deposits
The Company pays monthly interest to subscribers who are required to pay deposits for credit reasons in compliance with section 1.2.7. The deposits bear interest in compliance with the Bank of Canada Bank Rate plus 1%.
Monthly interest is calculated on the last day of the subscriber’s monthly invoice period, prorated for the part of the month during which the company withholds the deposit. The calculation is made on the balance of the subscriber’s deposit, including the interest paid up to the current invoice period.

Note 2: A basic listing for residential service is limited to: a) the subscriber’s name, including the first name and initials, address and telephone number, or in the case of two people living at the same location with the same family name, a combination of first names and initials. Where different family names have been used in a residential service listing, the first name or initials must immediately follow the corresponding family name; b) the address of the premises where the service is installed. If circumstances warrant it, the address of other premises may be used or all addresses can be omitted; c) the telephone number of the service.
