Stand-alone residential primary exchange services

The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) has granted forbearance for residential local services in a number of Télébec exchanges. This means that Télébec no longer need CRTC approval for new services, terms, conditions, and prices.

However, Télébec continue to be obligated to provide stand alone local services to customers upon request, subject to credit policy and deposit requirements.
