Three digital cellular sites in Réserve faunique La Vérendrye 2007-09-13

As part of the ongoing efforts to optimize its cellular service, Télébec Mobilité is very proud to announce that three of its cellular sites in the Réserve faunique La Vérendrye have been upgraded.

Available for the past 10 years in the Réserve faunique La Vérendrye area, Télébec Mobilité cellular service is now digital. “The upgrades to the Barrage Bourque, Lac Larouche, and Lac Roland sites will certainly facilitate communications for the businesspeople and residents who regularly take this important road,” affirmed Vincent Guimont, Vice-President, Sales and Strategic Solutions at Télébec.

In total, $750 000 was invested to make digital cellular service available in three of the five sectors in the area.

There are many advantages to digital technology, including call security, longer cellular phone battery life, and enhanced technological applications such as e-mail, mobile browsers, downloads, and more.

By continuing to improve the cellular service available on its territory, Télébec Mobilité has demonstrated once again that it is both dynamic in its sector and attentive to the needs of its clients.
