Télébec offers Telesat’s KA-band technology 2005-08-22

Télébec is pleased to announce high-speed Internet is now available to all customers in Télébec territory with the introduction of Telesat’s Ka-band 2-way satellite solution.

Effective today, Télébec is a service provider for a new satellite broadband service operating on Telesat’s Anik F2 satellite. Telesat’s new satellite is the first in the world to commercialize the Ka-frequency band, a breakthrough satellite communications technology for delivering cost-effective, two-way broadband services.
