Theâtre Télébec Logo : Symbol of a meaningful partnership 2004-05-10

April 30, 2004 - At a press conference today, Roch Dubé, President and Chief Executive Officer of Télébec NorthernTel Group, launched the new Theâtre Télébec logo. The brand new Theâtre Télébec signature not only testifies to our major commitment to the entire community, but it also spotlights the active role Télébec plays locally, Roch Dubé explained.

A lasting partnership

Both simple and powerful, the Theâtre Télébec logo emanates the strength and stability on which the relationship between the Town of Val-d'Or, the Commission scolaire de l'Or-et-des-bois, the Government of Quebec and Télébec is based. The two separate masses in green and black underscore, among other things, the duality of the professional and amateur artists who will grace the stage.

The beam of light in the logo is clearly reminiscent of the facility's very first vocation, specifically the performing arts. The beam also spotlights Theâtre Télébec, which is at the heart of cultural activity in the Vallée-de-l'Or.

The bold and balanced signature of the new Theâtre Télébec clearly announces to the public the incontestable presence of a cultural venue of which we are all extremely proud. Furthermore, it makes our contribution to this project all the more clear and demonstrative, Mr. Dub? concluded.
