The Company recently put a new digital cell site into service in Rouyn-Noranda that will definitely improve cellular coverage in the industrial park, downtown and the southeastern section of Rouyn-Noranda including Granada, McWatters, the airport and the road to Beaudry.

“These investments also include construction of a new digital cell site in the Mont Kékéko area next June, as well as construction of another digital tower near Duparquet by the end of 2004,” said Richard Hélie, Vice-President – Sales and Strategic Solutions at Télébec.

“Construction of the new towers is in line with our customer-oriented approach aimed at making life easier and improving wireless services for them. Ultimately these new facilities are excellent news for all our customers in the Rouyn-Noranda region as well as for those in Abitibi-West,” he added.
