With Call Display,
you can see the number of the person calling before you answer the phone.
The caller's telephone number is displayed after the second ring. You
can then decide if you want to answer or call the person back later. You
need a display screen on your phone for this service to work.
Some numbers may not
be displayed with Call Display. If the words "Unknown Number"
appear on your screen, it means that the call was made through the operator
or from an area where Call Display technology is not available. "Confidential Number" or "Private Call" means that
the caller has intentionally blocked the transmission of his number. You
might not be able to call back some of the telephone numbers displayed,
as the calls may be made from phones that cannot receive calls, such as
pay phones. Call Display works with calls made from areas equipped with
Call Display technology.
