Accessing your Voicemail when you are away from home

Once you have initialized your Voicemail, you can access it any time, even when you are away from home, in order to listen to, save or delete your voice messages.

To access your messages from the outside:

  1. Dial your home phone number.
  2. When you hear the Voicemail greeting, press * (star).
  3. The system will ask you for your PIN (the Voicemail one).
  4. You will then be able to access your messages, as well as all the Voicemail features.

Note: These instructions also apply if you are calling long distance to retrieve your messages. In this event, you can charge the call to your Télébec Calling Card.

Alternate number for remote access (direct access)
If one of the following services has been activated on your line, namely Call Forwarding, Find-Me-Follow-Me or Do Not Disturb, dial the remote access number that that was provided to you in the letter enclosed with this document. Since you may not be able to hear your personal greeting when these services are activated, this phone number gives you direct access to the Voicemail instructions. Once you have entered your 10-digit telephone number and your password, simply follow the voice prompts as usual.

Certain conditions apply, including a 12-month commitment at time of subscription. Offer valid for residential customers only, where technology permits. The customer must have a Touch-tone phone. Rotary phones are not compatible. An Internet connection is required to access the Call Feature Management website. Display features require a phone equipped with a display window. Certain features are activated and deactivated by phone.
