Important information about upcoming changes to text message rates
We want to inform you of upcoming changes to your Télébec mobility pay-per-use and out of bundle text messaging rates.
Effective August 1st, 2011, the rates for text messaging will increase as follows:
Sent and received text messages (including messages sent to the U.S) will increase from $0.15/message to $0.20/message;
Text messages received from an application (for example, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) will start being treated as standard received text messages and charged at the rate of $0.20/message or deducted from a text messaging bundle; and
Text messages sent from Canada to international destinations will increase from $0.25/message to $0.35/message.
Please note that these increases will only impact users that send and receive text messages and do not have a text messaging bundle or have exceeded the allotted text messages in their bundle.
