About Télébec > Customer Info

Dear customer:

In the event of a postal strike, Télébec wishes to remind its customers that bills must be paid before the due date to avoid late payment charges. Even if you don’t receive your bill, it must be paid within the next 30 days following your billing date for the phone and Internet bill and for the mobility bill.

During a Canada Post strike, please do not send payment by regular mail. Alternate methods are available to pay your bill:

TELEPHONE AND INTERNET BILL

  1. With your financial institution (expect a delay of 3 to 4 days f before receipt of your payment at Télébec):
    • in person;
    • by Automated Teller Machine (ATM);
    • by phone (by calling your financial institution);
    • by Internet (on the Web site of your financial institution);
  2. By credit card by calling one of our agents at 1-888-TÉLÉBEC (press option 3, then option 6);
  3. By credit card, on the Télébec Web site at www.telebec.com, “My bill/Pay my bill” section.

Before you make your payment, you can consult your account balance by going to www.telebec.com, in the “My bill/Account balance” section or by calling our interactive voice system at 1-888-TÉLÉBEC (press option 3, then option 1). Your authentication (with your personal identification number - PIN) as a Télébec customer will be required in both cases.

If you are using our online services for the first time (Web or interactive voice system), please have your last telephone bill on hand, as it contains a five-digit access code necessary for your authentication and the creation of your PIN. All details are provided during this process.

View your bill online
Even if you don’t receive your bill by mail, you can view your bill online five (5) business days after its issue date. Simply go to www.telebec.com, in the “My bill/View my bill” section.
